The kids so excited to plant our garden each year! They each picked out their favorite veges and fruits to plant. Maddie picked zucchini because she LOVES Chocolate Zucchini cake (hey it has a vegetable in it), Zach planted his Sunflower from his kindergarten class, Abby planted a watermellon plant, and Paisley planted pumpkins--Paisley's Pumpkins. Mark and I planted our peppers, onions, tomatoes and broccoli to make salsa and my bottles tomato soup. YUM! Ironically, it snowed about 4 inches a week after we planted everything. Luckily, almost everything survived okay.
