Fillmore Family Reunion

It is so fun to see family traditions starting in our family! This was the second year that we stayed at a cabin on the north side of Lake Tahoe, CA for the Fillmore family reunion. It is such a beautiful place to stay and we all have fun playing together for a week. This year, Melissa and Brent were in charge of the reunion and they did a great job! Our theme was "Survivor" and everything we did played into that theme. It's not easy to organize food, sleeping arrangements and activities for 36 people. But they did and did it well! We had a great time at the pool, bike riding, rafting and of course, playing at the lake. But the best part of all was that every night we would gather together in the little family room at the cabin and have a family devotional. This year, each family made a family flag that we will bring to every family reunion to put our pins on that represent what we learned at our devotionals. What a blessing it is to spend this time together each year. It is by far my kids favorite time of the summer!
