Fancy Nancy Day!

At Paisley's Preschool they had a day where they were to come dressed up as their favorite character in a book. Paisley, of course, chose her favorite book "Fancy Nancy and the Posh Puppy". (It is mine, too!) She looked so cute that day! She even had her own "Posh Puppy" that she took to school.

Easter 2012

This Easter Season has been a whirlwind! But it has also been the most spiritual for Mark and I. Being a part of Savior of The World and doing 2 shows the day before Easter was truly special. However, I have to admit it was pretty amazing that the Easter Bunny showed up and hid eggs and surprises at the house (during church!). The kids had a fun surprise when we got home, thats for sure. After a much needed long nap we enjoyed a lovely Easter dinner at the Fillmore's with all the cousins.

Seventy Six Trombones Led The Big Parade

Lehi City's Spring Theater Workshop Show - The Music Man!

I love this musical! The music makes you want to jump up and march right along! In the show Abby played Zanita, the Mayor's Daughter and Maddie played Alma Hicks. They had a great time and were so great on stage. Mark and I were so proud of them!

Here are a few pictures from the play!

The Cast

Trouble . . . Right here is River City!
Can you find Abby?

Maddie as "Alma Hicks"
(She kind of looks like Mary Poppins.)

Grandma & Grandpa Fillmore came to see the show and take us all out for ice cream!

All the Ladies - I love the hats!

Abby as "Zanita"

"Shapoopie"

The girl who played Marian (in the center) was only 12.
She is in our Ward and did a darling job!

More adoring fans! It was special having my parents, my sister Kelli, and the girls Great Grandparents there to see them perform.

Ski Day

Over Spring Break we took advantage of literally the last days of the ski season and the beautiful spring weather (62 degrees at the base!) and went up to Alta this afternoon. The kids were so excited, but by far Paisley was the most excited. We decided to take her this year for her first time and she was in heaven! It took only a few minutes to get her balance and then she was off - on the flat areas anyway. Mom got quite the workout on the slightly steeper areas. (My arms and legs felt like jelly after 2 hours of holding her up most of the time!) But it was all worth it! Mark was helping Zach on his second trip to the mountain and the girls were on their own having a great time. Paisley is counting the days (or months) until we get to go again.

I got a kick out of Paisley's little skis!!!

She thought the lift ride was so much fun.

All by herself!

So tired! She literally laid down in the snow because she couldn't walk anymore to the car. (I know how she felt!) But nothing feels better than a little snow and sun!

Catch up!

My goodness!! How time flies when you are having fun - or life is just crazy. :) Actually life has been fun lately! Mark and I are both in a local production of Savior Of The World. I am playing the mother of Mary and Mark has the roll of Micah the Prophet and The Savior. I will be posting more pictures of that later. But for now I thought I would post some pics of the events of these past 2 months. Enjoy!

Paisley Turns 5!!

How the time flies! I know I say that every time my kids have a birthday but it's TRUE!! I can hardly believe my baby is a big 5 year old. And I am serious when I say that she is an older 5 year old than my other girls when they turned 5. Having 2 teenage older sisters make a big impression on you when you adore everything they watch, listen to and say. Luckily they are great older sisters but they still live in an older world than most 5 year olds and it definitely shows in her more mature nature. Luckily she still loves dolls and dress ups and playing "kitchen" so I am enjoying every minute of her 5th year.

Here are a few pictures of how we spent her special day.

Paisley's best friend, Addie, also share a birthday with Paisley so they had a fun little "Birthday Party" together at McDonalds where they played to their hearts content.

I am LOVING these new Lego sets called "Lego Friends". Paisley got two sets for her birthday and is having so much fun with them.

Breakfast in Bed!

We had fun celebrating as a family by going bowling. Paisley completely skunked us all!

Course, she had a little advantage.

She was SO excited to get a nightgown and it even came with a matching doll nightgown for Lucy. So cute!!
